Municipal Inmigration Service
Barakaldo has a II Local Plan on Immigration and the Management of Diversity 2011-2014 and a municipal staff member working exclusively on immigration issues within the Social Action Department, which coordinates the resources and proposals from all the City Council's departments and social agents in the municipality. This provides for the reception and integration of the immigrant resident people in the municipality and an improvement in their living conditions.
