Leisure and culture
Barakaldo organises a series of socio-community programmes on culture and leisure in the mornings and afternoons.
Cultural programmes
Participating in the cultural groups does not require any previous preparation, only an interest in fulfilling the potential of people to develop their personal capabilities and to creatively enrich their leisure time.
They are aimed at all people who would like to enjoy and/or approach the world of art, crafts and any other cultural activity for the first time. The courses given allow people to learn about techniques and introdue them to experiences and cultural practices which later on can give them the opportunity to develop their knowledge further in more specialised areas.
These cultural programmes will also include conferences, exhibitions, talks, cultural trips and shows.
Information on timetables and specific activities is available through the Barakaldo Town Hall Network of Cultural Groups.
